This 13 season of IPL is going to start. IPL will run from 31 March to 24 May. The first match of IPL will be played on 29 March at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The final match of IPL is also to be played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. There is still about 2 months left for the IPL to start. There are 4 major changes made in IPL 2020 which will be implemented in IPL 2020. About 4 such major changes We will tell you in this post.
1. All Star Match
All Star match will be played before the first match of IPL. Teams from 8 franchises will be divided into 2 teams. A match will be played between them. The match will be played 3 days before the start of the IPL. The ground on which this match is to be played has not been decided yet.
2 . What time does the match start
Earlier there were reports that the match in IPL 2020 will start at 7:30 pm, but it is not the case that the IPL will start at the same time i.e. the afternoon match in IPL 2020 will start at 4:00 pm and the evening match will start at 8:00 pm.
3. Separate umpire for no ball
Earlier the responsibility of watching the no ball used to be on the umpire standing on the field, but it would not happen in IPL 2020. The third umpire will have the responsibility of watching the no ball in IPL 2020.
4. There will also be a rule of concession
Concussion rules were introduced in international cricket from August. After this, if a player gets a head injury during the match, then another player in the team can get a chance instead. Now this rule is going to come in IPL also. A second player of the same type may be included in the team after a head injury.
